Description and features
The Engage 65 SE Convertible is a wireless microphone headset from the brand Jabra.
The model presented here is in earbud format. It can also be transformed into a headband-style headset (accessory provided). It is advisable if you are looking for a flexible and lightweight solution (only 21 grams).
This new version of the Engage 65 (SE = Second Edition) brings USB-C connectivity and a slight design modification.
The power of DECT
This headset comes with a base and connects wirelessly to it using DECT technology. Borrowed from the residential telephone world, this protocol offers several advantages:
The Engage 65 SE Convertible can be connected to both a landline phone and a computer, totaling 2 devices. Therefore, you can use it for both video conferencing and handling calls through your regular phone.
A concentration of practical functions and specifications
The talk time autonomy goes up to 9 hours. And in case of low battery, the docking station will allow for quick charging: in just 30 minutes, you will already have regained 40% of capacity.
The microphone has noise reduction.
The cushions are made of imitation leather, allowing for extended use without risking feeling pain or uncomfortable heat around the ears.
And finally, the Busylight function indicates a red light at the ear cups when you are in a conversation.
