Description and features

MOON is an office chair whose implementation has incorporated all stages of product development process. Starting from idea, through design, numerous tests and ending up with manufacturing process. Our idea was to design a product which combines high ergonomic values, perfect profiles and an ageless, light, user-friendly style.
Clear ergonomic shapes of the seat and backrest can be seen in every picture. With your comfort in mind, we have prepared the following: armrests adjustable in many dimensions, synchronous mechanism with a depth adjustment feature, adjustable backrest height when sitting.
Moon was granted the Furniture Diamond 2017 prize in the category – labor zone.

Mechanism: Moon is equipped with the movement mechanism – Synchro Plus. Once the interlock of the specific position has been released, the backrest inclines in a direction coordinated with the seat, coping the user’s movements. The backrest movement range is deeper and faster than the movement of the seat. The resisting force of the backrest when moving is adjustable, thanks to which it is possible to adapt to the user’s weight.

The user may feel free to interlock the specific position (incl. a standard working position) of backrest and seat inclination by using the lever under the seat. The mechanism also allows adjusting the seat depth, that is its distance from the backrest. It is PLUS feature included in its name. Thanks to this property, the backrest features will be accessible to both short and tall users. ANTI-Shock feature prevents user’s back from hitting the backrest rapidly after the specific inclination position has been released.

Armrests: The chair is equipped with armrests adjustable in three dimensions - R10: Up and Down (The range of armrest height adjustment is 7.5 cm.), Front and Back (The range of adjustment is 6 cm), Angle Position within a 15-degree range.

Backrest: upholstered on both sides, clearly shaped (also in lumbar area). It allows adjusting the height when sitting. Made of plywood filled with polyurethane foam based on injection technology.

Seat: Upholstered on both sides, clearly shaped to reduce thigh pressure and assure ergonomic position of the pelvis. It allows height and depth adjustment. Made of plywood filled with polyurethane foam based on the injection technology.

Backrest and seat are upholstered with CURA fabric distinguished by its subtle mélange weave and pastel colour palette. It has high technical characteristics, such as abrasion resistance of 100,000 Martindale cycles, very good resistance to light and rubbing, and very high pilling resistance of 4-5 on a 5-point scale.

Cura collection has the EN 1021 flame retardancy certificate thanks to which the furniture upholstered with this fabric can be safely used in public utility facilities.
